I bought a G Box a few days ago to cut the cord. I need to view local news and found livestream.
But when I access it, I don't see any local stations just JBTVmusic.com links.
Is there something that needs to be added?

Not sure where you are geographically but if in Canada the CBC addon is great for local news, and also The National. Found in the Kodi repo.
