Problems playing 1080p files
#1
I've tried a couple of different 1080p files, and cannot get any video, though audio will often play in a somewhat inconsistent fashion.

720p works pretty much without issue.

These 1080p files work on VLC on windows without issue.

1. Debug Log: http://pastebin.com/UrRJm5A2

2. Version of Kodi: 15.2

3. Distribution and version: RASPBIAN JESSIE
Version:March 2016
Release date:2016-03-18
Kernel version:4.1

4. What version of the Pi: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B

5. Detailed Instructions to reproduce the Problem: Unable to get any video playback on any 1080p files I have tried thus far.

Here's the details of the file I grabbed off VLC

Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part10)(avc1)
Language:English
Resolution:1920x1072
Frame rate: 23.976923
Decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV
Stream 1
Type: Audio
Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
Language: English
Channels: 3F2R/LFE
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Stream 2:
Type:Subtitle
Codec:Text subtitles with various tags (subt)
Language:English

I have no particular attachment to Raspbian if the issue is the version of Kodi being too low or something. (Saw a few things about 15.2 being the highest I could install conventionally?)

Any information or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Code:
18:48:52 T:1945595904  NOTICE: ARM mem: 944MB GPU mem: 64MB MPG2:0 WVC1:0

Increase gpu_mem in config.txt. On a Pi2 gpu_mem=256 is recommended.
