iPad - offline content - the easiest way?
#1
Hi guys,

what is the easiest way how to move my content to iPad (no jailbreak) so that I can watch it offline?

I do not have Plex Pass and I assume that Plex on iTunes offers this as premium feature.

I was thinking if there is any convenient option how to download it from that server (Samba -> network access) without having to turn on my MacBook and connect it via cable in an old school way.

Thanks.

Or use the filemanager which is embedded into kodi?

The file manager in kodi works just fine without jailbreak

It lets you copy files into the Kodi app

I did not know that I can install Kodi without jailbreak these days. I will give it a try.

I can not get past "The application could not be verified". Oh how I hate MacOSx, iOS and Apple.

Even confirmation that I trust the dev in iOS settings did not solved this issue.

When I use build for running (instead of window- devices and "+") it installs on my iPad 3, but without the icon and the app shows white screen.

Finally!

Anyone who will struggle with this should follow this tutorial http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=245978 and not those on the internet.

I have tried to move files using what you have sugested and its not ideal. This app http://www.stratospherix.com/products/filebrowser/ can move multiple preselected files, but with Kodi I can only choose one or all in one particular folder.

It is however solved, thanks for the ip that I can install Kodi :-).
