Hi,

Kodi runs fine on my Android TV Box but recently I needed to download subtitle for some movie but I shocked when I discovered that Kodi unable to write on external storage although my TV Box is rooted (usually other apps asks me for granting root privileges before writing on external storage but Kodi don't do that ).

How can I enable Kodi to be able to write on external storage?

I'm not sure what you meant but I plugged in my external HD and I'm able to access it with read/write permissions using ES File Explorer (I granted root permissions to ES File explorer)
