Dear,
I installed Raspian (light version without Desktop) + installed Kodi 16 (from http://pipplware.pplware.pt/pipplware repository).
When I want to type character letters with my attached keyboard in KODI (as example to search on movie title) then nothing appear.
If I press key on the Keypad, then it displays letters.
I can use the virtual desktop but it is more complicated.
I remember that it was possible to type a text using the normal keyboard characters.
I have selected AZERTY keyboard and configured keyboard with RASPIConfig.
My keyboard work in the shell screen.
Maybe there is a bug or something I didn't make.
Maybe it works only with QUERTY.
