I've been working on our Kodi add-on (https://github.com/putdotio/putio-kodi) which is basically a streaming video add-on. I've been trying to show some 'HD' and 'Watched' overlay icons for every video file - which are just a ListItem. I've tried setting listitem.setInfo('video', {'overlay': xbmcgui.ICON_OVERLAY_HD}) among other things. No success so far.
I've tried it with Kodi 14, 15 and 16. The theme is the stock Confluence.
Anyone have any experience with overlay icons?
