I am a relative newcomer to KODI so appologies if this is in the wrong section.

Current I have an SD tv distribution system (avilynx) SD source comes in and then distributes over cat5 (reviver box at other end of cat cable) , I keep looking at HD distribution systems but they are very expensive.

Could I build (with kodi at the core) a HD distribution system where I take a source (say sky HD) send it out to the network and then use KODI boxes to pickup the stream. If so can anybody suggest the best way of dong this ?
