Complete noob needs help connecting bluetooth keyboard to rasp with xbmc kodi.

Okay i'm not even sure if this is possible. But hear me out.

I just bought a bluetooth keyboard that apparently was meant for ipad / tablet use,
http://www.amazon.com/Rapoo-Ultra-Slim-B...B0072N3GAE .

It didn't come with a bluetooth dongle but i had one on my pc and i connected the keyboard just fine on pc.

But how do i do this on xbmc / kodi ?
I am a complete noob when it comes to rasp/xbmc in general.
I have another rapoo keyboard connected to the raspberry and it works fine cause it had it's own dedicated dongle.

tldr; How to connect a bluetooth keyboard to a basic bluetooth dongle in xbmc/kodi.

Which particular model of Raspberry Pi do you have? What distro are you using? Raspbian? OSMC? OpenELEC? LibreELEC?
HTPCs: 2 x Chromecast with Google TV
Audio: Pioneer VSX-819HK & S-HS 100 5.1 Speakers
Server: HP Compaq Pro 6300, 4GB RAM, 8.75TB, Bodhi Linux 5.x, NFS, MySQL

You don't need to use a BT dongle on an RPI 3 as they have one built in.

Aha, should have known that.
How do i "search for bluetooth devices" in this rasp/kodi xbmc ? I can't find a way to do it. Thanks for the patience.

Sorry but no, since i cant access "linux" part at all. I can only access the xbmc / kodi part. Isn't there a "search for bluetooth device" in xbmc/kodi itself ?

No, it's part of the OS, as has already been mentioned.

There is such a thing in the OpenElec/LibreElec and OSMC companion add-ons, but only because they don't really have an accessible OS underneath them and so need something like that to act as a portal to that layer. If you're running Kodi under Raspbian, you need to make all that kind of connection at that level, in the same way as you're presumably making wifi connections too (if you're running that way rather than hard-wired).
