Not all android boxes are equal.
Beelink MiniMXIII for example is one of two I have: android 5.1 (so next Kodi version will be ok too) HDMI 2.0.
Yes it has USB 2 and WiFi 2.4 but, in professional tests, it is stable on 4K too... if you want to use WiFi. But it has a cabled Gigabit connector too.
And it costs only about $40, ready to use out of the box (anyway I uninstalled kodi an reinstalled it again to have a completely clean version)
