Hello everyone,
a few weeks ago I posted a thread saying there was a bug in the autosubs plugin.
I created a issue on their github but they didn't do anything with it. We decided to try and fix the issue myself.
For anyone who was running into the following issue, download the updated version here and just install the zip. It should work without flaw.
The issue I was having was that once the player was already previously engaged. It wouldn't automatically start downloading a subtitle again when you changed the file you where playing.
Let's say you where watching an episode of arrow, the episode was finished and Kodi would automatically start playing the next episode. When this happened the autosubs script wouldn't be called upon again and you had to manually start the download.
What we did was write a check to see if the filename changed when it does the script is called upon again and will download the subtitles automatically.
