I believe this essential feature would significantly improve switching time between channels on same mux. Even some popular low power backends may provide streaming of entire mux.

It is the backend's job to just send the client one channel.

Users might wanna rearrange that roles. Frontend could even timeshift selected programs in RAM disk

At least it is present in some addon

Enable demuxing MPEG-TS

Enables the addon internal demuxing of the stream. Advantages are faster channel switching and better timeshift functionality.
