What do you use Kodi for?

I tried to use it at work. They ended up with a 150k+ system instead

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Hahaha so funny. I've had a similar thing at the office.
Yeah, lets spend thousands on a system that could be replaced by something better...and free

I use KODI (on openELEC/RPi2) with an external HDD (6 Tb) to watch my .mkv movie library on TV. Never had such a great combo in terms of matching soft- and hardware. KODI rocks. Always on, perfect streams, great subtitles, great remote via iPhone app, nearly no more wishes. An iPad App without having to jailbreak would be nice for KODI. Regards, CM.
Regards and thanks for your help, CM
