Hey,
I am having trouble on Kodibuntu with projectm after upgrading the base system to 16.04. Just did a clean install of Kodibuntu 14, projectm works until I upgrade the base system to ubuntu 16.04. The error I see in syslog is the following:
[ 107.143591] kodi.bin[1640]: segfault at 18 ip 00007ff4b3fb55a9 sp 00007ffd70accda0 error 4 in libc-2.23.so[7ff4b3f37000+1c0000]
This appears as soon as projectm vis tries to kick in. A few seconds later Kodi restarts.
Any ideas?
Thx,
boba

dpkg -l |grep project
dpkg -l |grep kodi
please - it feels like the projectm installation does not match the kodi installation

Ouh - nice mixture of everything :-( - sorry I did not package those. Let's wait until wsnipex comes by, he can help I think.

I thought it loads the wrong lib version while it should load .16? But as I said - I have no idea how it is packaged, therefore I asked :-)

Can't really sort this out. but do you or me now have different packages installed? Should I try to remove anything and reinstall?
