Start up error workaround :) PS3 pads crashing kodi..
#1
Workaround to my Issue, unplug the PS3 pads.

They work fine in xbox emulated mode with motioninjoy driver.. but not when detect as ps3..

Anyone having issues with this mirror ATM?

http://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/xbmc/list.html

Getting this in the startup log with a clean install.. pointed towards networking issues..

12:47:52 T:7592 ERROR: CCurlFile::FillBuffer - Failed: Timeout was reached(28)
12:47:52 T:7592 ERROR: CRepository: Failed to parse addons.xml. Malformated.
12:47:52 T:7592 ERROR: CRepositoryUpdateJob[repository.xbmc.org] failed to read or parse directory 'http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/jarvis/addons.xml.gz'

But
http://mirrors.kodi.tv/list.html > The requested URL /xbmc/list.html was not found on this server.

Apache/2.4.10 (Debian) Server at ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de Port 80

So is a bad mirror enough for causing kodi not to start? 15.x and 16.x 17 was ok but obviously its a bit sparse to be used atm Big Grin but its looking nice..

Looks like that might be unrelated so here is the full data set..

Kodi 16.1 release
Windows 10 pro 64 bit - build 10240
AMD bulldozer,
16Gb Ram,
2 x AMD 280x in crossfire.
My issue seems to have started after I plugged in another monitor to my PC..
iiyama T2250MTS was the new monitor and optoma GT1080 the original projector.
Latest AMD drivers 16.4.2
Audio is on board from asus fx990 saber v2 so realtek HD via optical to AMP

Things of note. as well as plugging in the other monitor the same day I added.
New/replacement xbox 360 receiver.
Plugged in my PS3 pads to charge.
USB hub extension.
setup the monitor with its touch enabled.
Scaling is at 125% on both screens.
