Is there any other addon except simple iptv that can handle m3u links?

Tvheadend does. I am using it to stream from my HDHR Primes, since Tvheadend does not really support CableCard tuners. I have a static m3u being served by a webserver on my local network, although referencing a local m3u stored on the filesystem will work as well. When you add it in TVH, just add it as an Automatic IPTV network, and it will scan each stream in the m3u and create a mux and service for each stream.
