i noticed the new v2.8 has some sort of auto subtitle scraper which is a great new feature since I live in Thailand and my girlfriends are Thai

I've added my OpenSubtitles.org username and password (which is ordered with password first that I found odd)

I don't know what else to set or how to activate scraping or even if it's working in any fashion.

Could someone with more clue explain the workflow?

Downloading subtitles will work in two different ways:

- if your movie release is found at OpenSubtitles.org (via a calculated hash), the subtitle can be downloaded automatically. This can be done with the new action called Automatically download subtitles via the context menu.
- if your movie is not found via hash you can search OpenSubtitles.org for a suitable subtitle and download it. This can be done with the new action called Search & download subtitles via the context menu
