I am on 14.04 (kernel 3.19) and I'm using an aftermarket receiver with two xbox360 controllers, and it seems kodi thinks that one of the thumb sticks is cornered.
Is currently a solution or fix for this? Is Kodi compatible with the chatpad? I've read through some of the earlier posts but they are all dead circa 2011.

Try using a kodi 17 alpha build. The input handling has significantly changed and no changes are going to go into Jarvis.

I'm assuming changing to the nightly repository will get me there in ubuntu? (not the unstable)
Will that support the Chat Pad?
I just did it on a test box (16.04; 17.01) and got nothing.

Bump?
Does no one have these issues? If you have no issues with xbox360 wireless controllers, what is your setup?
