I just installed Kodi 17 on Jailbroken ATV4 (9.0) and also Kodi 16 on an updated ATV4 (9.2) and Im having the same issues on both boxes with Add-ons and error messages. Both programs seemed to have been installed correctly but when I put in source codes (http://...) and got to video addons, nothing comes up, or if I do get one to add, I get an error message. What am I doing wrong? Is ATV4 not compatible?

I guess that's mrmc, where no addons are supported at all ?

He's trying to install an add-on or repo by zip, by adding an http source, and is getting a message that implies the source is down or he mistyped it.
I wouldn't bother trying to help him. It's either a pirate/bootleg content add-on, or a simple problem that has been answered dozens of times on the forums already.

There is no Kodi v16 for ATV4.
And just to be clear, even if someone figured out a way to 'install' an addon in MrMC on the ATV4, it will not work as python is just not present.
