Since I have DirectX 9, does this mean I cannot use Kodi or in other words Kodi in not compatible with my system ?

Thanks

Kodi 16.x requires systems supporting DirectX 11.x and up.
Kodi 15.x requires systems supporting DirectX 9.x and up.

Since your system seems to support DirectX 9, you should not be trying the current Kodi Jarvis version.

Looks like you use Windows10. Your GPU has no official drivers for Windows 10 and drivers from MS may not work properly.

I had that problem but yes, the only thing you need are drivers.

downgrade your OS to Windows 8.1, or try with linux.

Maybe it will work with Windows 8.1 but I would not recommend you to go there. Better option than 8.1 is Linux definitely.

I will try it on my Ubuntu or fedora

I downloaded the generic build of ( New Install and Manual Update for LibreELEC (.img.gz) ) and installed it on thumb drive. I also installed some sources and added their add-ons now the good thing I can see picture and hear sound, but at the same time I am still getting error message from some add-on contents tells me that an error occurred while playing a TV channel and error logs are available

First: it is not a debug log

Code:
10:46:17 T:140178999212096  NOTICE: Disabled debug logging due to GUI setting. Level 0.
10:46:17 T:140178999212096  NOTICE: Log level changed to "LOG_LEVEL_NORMAL"

Then: why this thread is in the Windows section?

Code:
10:46:13 T:140178999212096  NOTICE: Starting Kodi (16.1 Git:c327c53). Platform: Linux x86 64-bit
10:46:13 T:140178999212096  NOTICE: Kodi compiled Jun 22 2016 by GCC 5.3.0 for Linux x86 64-bit version 4.4.13 (263181)
10:46:13 T:140178999212096  NOTICE: Running on LibreELEC (official) - Version: 7.0.2, kernel: Linux x86 64-bit version 4.4.13

I followed the easy way to get log file and I gave you that, I'll try to get more detailed one. I was recommended in #10 to use LibreElec, hope you read this before posting.
