Solved NFO entries for fanart and poster deleted after editing
#1
Hi guys,
for my movie collection i am reffering to poster.jpg and fanart.jpg which are stored in the respective movie Folder.

I now recognized that the path is deleted in the .nfo file every time i am editing something in TMM. Also - when i want to repair the path by assigning the files again via TMM, this is not done. So i have to do it manually by myself in the .nfo.

Can you please have a look on this? Thank you.

Here you go. YOu can see that "fanart" and "poster" are empty. If I want to assign the pics from "choose poster" or "choose fanart" the paths are not updated:

<plot>Based on Frank Miller's latest graphic novel Xerxes and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster "300," this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield--on the sea--as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. "300: Rise of an Empire" pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes and Artemesia, the vengeful commander of the Persian navy.</plot>

Ah ok, yes, i c.
This is the intended behaviour Wink

First of all, upon import, Kodi always uses local files prior parsing the NFO values.
So regardless what we write, Kodi ignores it as long as you have a local image...

When we scrape images online, we have a valid url... and this is written to the NFO. (for backup purposes, rereading, or whatever)
When you choose a local image al poster, there is no url and therefor we remove this entry....
