Hi,

Is it possible to add a second box that is the movies player functionality but points to a different folder for the media?. I am trying to separate out adult and kids movies and would also like to do the same for TV shows with another couple of boxes.

How is it done please?

Basically you need to create different smart playlists based on file paths and then add them to the home menu using the home menu editor:

Hi,

I have been able to create the smart playlist, but have not been able to get it to open from a menu option. Please can you post the actual action code to open a smart playlist called 'Comedy' so it will open to that folder and then play from it once you have selected. Similar to the behaviour you get from the TVshow or Movies built in.

Settings -> Skin Settings -> Home -> Customize menu items -> Add -> Choose item from menu -> Video Library -> Playlist -> Choose your playlist -> Display.

Go to the home screen to see the new item.
