Hi all. I've just installed Ubuntu 16.04 and Kodi on a Zotac ZBOX CI323. Does anyone know how to get the built in IR receiver to work under Linux?

I've installed lirc but it doesn't seem to have any existing profile for a Zotac IR receiver.

sudo cat /dev/lirc0

then I can see that the IR receiver is picking up IR signals from any remote I use.

I think the receiver is actually working correctly already, I just need a lirc config.

Kind of an old thread, will I get a reply?

I'm using a zbox C1320nano, ubuntu 16.04 is installed.  Discovered Kodi in the repos while searching for xbmc, thought I'd give it a whirl.  Anyway, trying to navigate with a keyboard that has a scratchpad is a pain as there is no scroll.  I found a zotac remote from a previous older nano I had in a box and it will turn on the present system!!!  Yeah!!  But that seems to be all it will do. 

Does anyone know what to do to get the zbox remote to work for kodi?
