this has been happing a lot, sometimes the sound will completly drop out durring a movie then i have to restart kodi, happens most when i skip thru a movie
ive tried different sound settings in kodi options and it made no difference, tried kodi 17 and this happens as well also ran a clean install, have latest drivers installed . im running audio/video thru hdmi 7.1 setup

running movies off 2 4tb WD usb my book drives (likely this is the problem cause im using usb 2.0 plus the drives are running paragon HFS+ in windows) but shoudn't lose sound cause of it
