Hi Kodi Community!
I've found an issue that's really bugging me!
Perhaps someone that's experienced with Kodi can provide a solution. If we couldn't find a solution and I became positive that this is a bug then I'll go to the Bug Tracker and will create a new ticket.
Crash Explanation
This issue only occurs when using an external player, eg: MPC-HC.
We open a series or a movie, for example "Another Episode 1".
While the external player is still active, if we change the video to another, for example "Another Episode 3" then Kodi won't be able to override the already open external video to the newly selected episode 3 and it results in a crash. (status doesn't matter "paused" "playing" "stopped")
The only way to avoid this issue is to close the player every time before changing the video.
