Hi,

I have some sound problems when I stream movies with Kodi from my NAS.
I have recorded an example:

It is not all movies, only some.
It is on all computers (Windows 7, 8.1 and 10)
Same error if I copy the file to the local HDD
I am using Kodi v16.1
If I stream the same file with VLC Player there is no problems

Can anyone help me ... :-) :-)

This is a good thread to start with http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=146911 playing your file from a local source would normally clear up any issues that networking would induce. Have you tried software rendering? In settings>video>playback try tuning off sync playback to video and adjust display refresh. In the worst case scenario, you could set-up VLC as your external player. External players (wiki)

I will try that... I have often lost sound while watching a movie... I can pause it for a moment or so and press play and the sound is back... Thanks
