By connecting to the internet through proxy server , the home IP address of your machine will not be shown but rather the IP of the proxy server will be shown. Therefore, when using a proxy server, you can be a lot more anonymous than when using a direct connection to the Internet.

Somewhat true there could be IP leaks though the proxy that gives away you location (ex. dns leak), and not to mention that proxy servers keep logs and your payment info so if someone wanted to know what you are up to it would not be hard to find out.

Well some of the movies on kodi was put on illegally it's may not be because the person wants to dl illegal movies. There are few cam movies on kodi and even Disney and others. All I use is kodi and I don't dl any illegal movies and was sent a email by my Internet provider saying I was doing illegal activity
