Joox NET plugin update
#1
Updated the Joox NET plugin so that is shows both "Confirmed " and "Unconfirmed" playlist as the original didn't for me. Also updated so that the newly added videos or "white" videos work, thanks to thisisaric for that fix posted Here

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Wasn't too sure as to where it should go.

Hey guys,
Joox recently blocked the urrlib user agent, trying to lock the script out. Not a very fine move.
Here is a fixed version that introduces itself as a normal Firefox browser:

I have just updated to the latest version of T3CH (rev10193) and everything works except the JooX script and plugin. The script says that they playlist could not be loaded. I noticed Unbehagen said that Joox recently blocked the urrlib user agent. Is that the reason why the script and plugin won't work. The reason I brought it up in here is that I have downloaded Unbehagen's fixed version however I am unsure of whether its a plugin (which I presume it is because of the thread) or a script. In any event I have had problems using it as a plugin (It states that it could not connect to the network server) and as a script it states:

Python Initialized
Traceback(most recent call last):
File "Q:\scripts\JooX Net\default.py", line 487, in ?
urllib_urlopener = AppURLopener()
NameError: name 'AppURLopener' is not defined

I assume I am doing something wrong. I am sorry if these seem relatively simple questions but I am relatively new to the XBMC scene.

I tried the script and am receiving the following error.

Error running script.
List index out of range.

I have the latest build of XBMC 9-10-2007 rev10193 T3CH.
I was able to run the joox 1.01 version previously.

Can anyone provide help?
Thanks.

No help here, but you should know that you're not alone. I know of two other people who are all getting an error from joox. Our error is something to the effect of play list could not be opened. I hope someone can come up with a fix in the next few days

Zkohajda, I had the same error. I have not found a fix for the script yet. However there is a fix for the plugin if you use the file that has been released by Unbehagen.

bm_ss, if you put the file in the plugin folder it should work just fine as it is not a script.

You need to update to the latest XBMC build from here

http://t3ch.yi.se/

Full instructions on how you install the XBMC build are in the file you download. The latest version has a plugin folder in the "Q" drive. There is a thread that tells you all about the plugin feature here

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...gin&page=6

You just put Ubehagen's plugin in Q\plugins\video and then add the plugin as a source (all this is explained in more detail in the thread above)

Hope this helps

Wats up guys..
I just came back from a 1 week trip to amsterdam, ant I couldnt help but notice that some idiot smashed the window of my car and my laptop won't start anymore. not your fault, I know.

I also noticed that my joox.net via xbmc doesn't work anymore. (t3ch xbmc version 2.01)
I updated from jox.net 1.01 to 1.2, no luck, same error "couldn't load playlist". I downloaded the joox.net 2.1 script from above in this thread, but I for some reason can't even run it on my xbmc.. it has a different icon than the other joox scripts, and won't start at all. strange. Anybody knows whats going on?
Thanks!
