I have been loading KODI n Linux Mint for the first time. How do I get the TV Videos to operate? It seems different from Windows slightly. Video instructions on youtube seem out dated. Do I need some kind of TV and movie app? What about games and does KODI have a Video Editor like Movie Maker? Let me know how to unleash the powers of KODI.

For your information...Kodi does NOT provide any content and is not able to modify it like the way a "Movie Maker" is able to. Kodi is a media center application which is able to play back your own stored files. So Kodi is NOT meant to watch videos on the internet. It´s able to in some ways, but those things aren´t supported here and we don´t discuss them.

So if you are using some video addons which are on that list:

you have to ask the author of those if they don´t work.

If you have local files which are on the machine you are using Kodi take a look here:

Generally Kodi operates the same way on Linux Mint as it does on Windows or MacOS. It plays back videos, music and pictures.

You should probably share the youtube link you saw, so we might know what your problem is if I might misunderstood.
