I have recently created an addon for a friend which features his 3 live channels, two video/audio and another just audio (radio channel).

How do I explicitly set a specific view within the code, for example the thumbnail view in Confluence, and every time a user start the addon it stays the same?

There's a built-in function 'Container.SetViewMode(id)' for that. But view IDs are specific for each skin.
