I'm also having the same issues, but for some reason no crash logs on the device... just wanted to add to the mix that this is not an isolated issues

So "fun" side fact, had KODI 16.1 running on my iPhone fine with no issues. Just thought I'd give v17 beta 1 a go, it opens and I can see the home screen and the 2 navigation notes, then crashes immediately.
Now we can add that my iOS version is probably suffering because of the same reason as the tvOS version. Happy days.

Sorry ios10 beta7 is not supported yet and i don't have it for testing. Its more likely that your crash is related to ios10 then to the stuff the other people have with tvos 9 here. Its bad to have so much variables counting at the same time.
Your logs don't show me anything that might give me an idea whats happening.

btw - the problem with paste.ubuntu.com is that i can't download crash reports as text file with out registering. Thats something that is still better with pastebin.com ... just saying ...

diamonddog or contagius - your crashes are identical. Any chance that one of you could provide me the Addon26.db from your userdata/Database folder?

So I thought I'd bite the bullet and I deleted Kodi off one of the Apple TV's running 9.2.2 and off mi iPhone running iOS 10 beta 7, then try installing the Aug 24 build on the apple tv and v17 beta 1 on the iPhone.
[Unfortunately] this works and Kodi is once again running. The obvious downside to this is all my settings and sources are gone. I'm going to be away from home for the next 9 days so won't be able to re-add all my settings and sources so won't be able to do my own kind of crash testing as I go through and set it up again until then.
For other peeps having this same crash, the choice at this point is probably yours. Either sit on the July 30 build, or wait until Memphiz is back in business and a subsequent build might fix the update issue.
Would be curious to hear how anyone else goes.

Memphiz,
I fixed it. I think the Addons26.db was broken. All I had to do was delete Addons26.db and launch Aug24 build. It rebuilt the Addons26.db. Works fine now.
Thanks guys for all the support and continuous effort.
