Hello all,

I had ServerWMC running for years. Right around the time when WMC got rid of the programming data in our area, I decided to get rid of cable (and subsequently our CableCard) and use OTA programming. Due to the lack of WMC programming (and no hacks to add Schedules Direct at the time), I switched to ArgusTV. Fast forward to today and I now have a cable subscription with a CableCard again. Since WMC is the only one that plays nice with a CableCard, I decided to try it with the new hacks that are available. WMC now works perfectly for recording and playing live tv. However, getting Kodi to play nicely with ServerWMC was the bottleneck that I didn't expect (since I had no problem with them previously). I keep getting a connection lost message on Kodi. I usually suspect firewall, but I disabled it. Here are my logs:

From the Kodi log it seems like in the pvr.wmc configuration settings you've entered the UNC path to the folder share instead of just the servername.

Try putting just the servername (or ip address if you don't have dns resolution)

Wow. I feel like an idiot. That was something I "tried" when I initially couldn't get it to work. Completely forgot to put it back.
