I've recently been trying to setup my gaming PC, and I've hit a bit of a snag. Most of my video files have no audio when played through my headset. They seem to play just fine through my monitor speakers, but with headphones plugged into an Asus Xonar DG I get nothing. The files that don't work all seem to be MKV files with DTS HD master & DTS, or Dolby HD & Dolby Digital. The Kodi menu "clicks" play just fine. And I have some MP4 files that work too.
I've tried everything I can think of and got nowhere.

I have managed to solve this issue by selecting the WASAPI:Speakers option in the audio renderer section. Then in Xonar DG Audio Centre I went to the "Main" tab and ticked the box next to "PCM". Perhaps it'll help someone in the future.
