All in One plugin package for XBMC
#1
Hi everybody,
I just rared all plugins released to one package. I also added all the data that the AMT script needs, so you don't need to build the database, which needs a long time.
This archive is around 96MB. Have fun!
http://rapidshare.com/files/56696807/plugins.rar
Update: Download this archive for the AMT cache, but use the plugins from the plugin package you can grab here:
http://theendofthelongestline.de/xbox/do.../index.php
This updated version contains 18 video plugins and 3 audio plugins

Contents:
---------
Video: Apple Movie Trailers, JooX.net, Podcast2 (for video podcasts), Seeqpod, TVLinks
Music: MySpace, Podcast2, Seeqpod

Usage:
------

Use latest T3CH SVN (not the stable) build for them to work. Go ahead, google that. T3CH XBMC SVN.

** Copy the contents of ToQPlugins to Q:\plugins
** Copy the contents of ToQUserDataScript_Data to
Q:\plugins\UserData\script_data. This will take a while (7000+ files)
EDIT: No, it's Q:\UserData\script_data, of course!
** Add the plugins in the Music and Video screen:
-> Add Source -> Music/Video Plugins -> [Plugin]
You can also add the contents of virtual folders: for example
if you like a TV show on joox very much, select it in the add source screen.

Q:\plugins\UserData\script_data are you sure you don't mean Q:\UserData\script_data ?

you can correct the mistake yourself now btw Smile

OH and the correct location would be P:\script_data (I believe) or possibly P:\UserData\script_data (P = Profiles)

Thanks, pike!!! Finally the possibility to edit my post, yeah!
P:\script_data is not as "user-friendly" as Q:\UserData\script_data, because the ftp by default doesn't display the P drive. Also in the filemanager most users won't have the P drive.

For amt, the cache goes in T:\userdata\script_data... The database goes in P:\userdata\script_data. Database is not shared, the cache is.

That's nice of you to supply the whole cache. I imagine most of that 96MB is cache.

quite beside the point my good sir!

P isnt a fancy letter, if you use more than one profile and put it in Q: the plugin won't work properly.

something else I wanted to point out is that every plugin must be Self Contained (with the glorious AMT being the exception), thus it shouldnt need stuff to exist in Q/P anyway!

Thanks for pointing that out! I always thought this would be only to save scripter's time for typing, never thought of profiles! Thanks!

Isnt's the cache needed for thumbnails etc.? Was the last statement ironic? Are the thumbnails also stored in the database? Please tell me what to do. If the cache dir isn't needed, I will of course remove it! Just thought it would be a good idea to do this so people don't have to do the AMT full refresh as that needs a lot of time, even more than FTPing all the stuff over.

the cache dir is needed, just pointing out that the cache folder and database are not in the same location if your using profiles.

You should try samba, it is alot faster when transfering the cache, which i've done a few times Smile

no, you did a nice thing Smile

I edited my previous post, try transfering with samba, it is a lot faster, especially with a lot of smaller files.

Or ccxstream maybe? Or transfer the whole RAR and extract it on XBox? Also when using FTP, make sure to try some FTP programs. I figured out that most of them are crappy when it comes to transferring a whole lot of small files. Most of them consume 100% cpu just to do 1 file every 2 seconds. I have good experience with FlashFXP, the integrated Gnome ftp browser and midnight commander ftp connection. NCFtp had some problems with recursive transfers. Filezilla client really sucks for this.
