I'm new to IPTV but not KODI, but I'm by no means an expert.

I've been happily using an Asus chromebox(OpenElec) with 4GB ram to stream local content. 1080p with DTS. works great. I've now moved onto Libreelec.

Now trying to use IPTV with stalker middleware and my head is spinning. So many sites, guides, how-to's that all just really want you to buy something or switch to them. I can get it to work, but it's not great. Buffering, pixelation.

So my questions.

1) Should the hardware and software I have be able to run HD IPTV. I'm using a wired gigabit connection.
2) Whenever I use IPTV the sound only comes out my rear speakers, but if I switch to local content it's DTS or uses my front speakers.
3) Is there a config file for the built in channel manager? I'm trying to remove a long list of channels but it's tedious doing it one by one.
4) If anyone is in a similar situation and can share their advancedsettings.xml it would be appreciated. I still haven't found a good combination to reduce buffering and keep a stable system.
