request - script to play xbox games ripped to usb hard drives on pc through network
#1
Hi...

I was wondering if there was a script out there, a possible way to do it, or if I could request someone to make a script that will allow muiltiple xbox's on a network to play games ripped to external usb hard drives that are connected to the media PC on the network? This way no more discs are used and multiple xbox's can play the same game at the same time on different tvs.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated... Thanks in advance...

Sure - it'd just have to FTP/transfer via SMB to the local xboxes before running the game, then delete it afterwards.

Is this what you had in mind? If so, it's doable. I doubt such a script exists though (consider how long it'd take to transfer a 5GB game across)
