Zidoo X9S

My X9S arrived yesterday but I can't seem to get it set up properly.

Hevc playback works in kodi fork, but not in Zidoo media player. Dts and DVD playback also doesn't work.

I'm on fw 1.2.3 but if I click update it says I'm updated. But I see that they are on 1.2.6?

Is the old firmware causing these problems or maybe my settings. I've set my settings as hdmkv shown in his video.

Any tips are welcome.

Upgrade to v1.2.6

OK so the update should fix the problem?

How can I update if the player says it's up to date?

Please don't merge as it'll be a mess like w/the two WeTek Play2 threads (that had to be unmerged). Was hoping this thread would die as it mostly has a lot of speculation stuff (now irrelevant) before X9S was released.

Then the MOD should close this one.

Thanks.

For reasons unknown it now plays DTS and DD, so thats fixed. But hevc still stutters in native player, I'll try the manual update and see if that fixes it.
