Hi Yall

i got a new show for my little speed-bump. it has 2 eps per (30min) file so to scrape them right they are named like s1e1e2... s1e3e4...

when i hit play, its queuing up each ep (and playing each file twice)
- s1e1 (... s1e1e2)
- s1e2 (... s1e1e2)
- s1e3 (... s1e3e4)
- s1e4 (... s1e3e4)

it should really be a little smarter and create a playlist like
- s1e1e2
- s1e3e4

has this already been solved for and im just not search the right terms ?

( im on LE 7.0.2 / kodi 16.1, i can provide a debug log too, but not sure it will help any )

It's a limitation of multiple episode files. You can set when the episodes start using bookmarks so it's a little better, but each instance will play to the end of the file because there's no system for some kind of "end mark".

Hopefully some kind of end bookmark will be implanted in the future, and then nothing will get repeated.

so with start-bookmarks, we're only repeating half the episodes

with a playlist like "e1 e2 e3 e4"
rather then playing e1e2 ... e1e2 ... e3e4 ... e3e4
you end up getting e1e2 ... e2 ... e3e4 ... e4
... so only the even eps are repeated.

when you say "hopefully some kind of end bookmark will happen"
it wont unless we ask, right ?
