Hi I'm new here and do not currently use Kodi but I am looking for a good media center and this name kept coming up.

My question is What is the best device to buy to put Kodi on? I don't want to put it on a computer or mobile device I want it to sit under My TV and be strictly a media center. I'm not interested in anything illegal.(add ons or otherwise)

Through My research I see it can be installed on just about anything. What would be the best box to install it on so it runs smoothly? Amazon firestick? apple tv? other? Something with more memory?

You might wanna look into the nVidia Shield. It's a great device for Kodi.

How does the Chrome Box compare to that? Which would be your choice?

Shield for access to Android apps, Chromebox for pure Kodi.

Yea I read through that, That is where I came up with the Chrome Box. I have been reading until My head hurts but I think I will go with the Shield.
