Hi,

i try to compile Kodi 17 for windows. I want to try to compile it with Visual Studio 15 (HOW-TO:Compile_Kodi_for_Windows Part 5), but i cannot find the XBMC for Windows.sln File.

Also any reason why your compiling alone just wondered?

Just for fun and learning process. In Kodi 16 XBMC for Windows.sln exists.

I must say, I was wtf'ed myself
How are windows devs supposed to develop? Notepad++?

Now i can compile for myself. Perhaps a extra note should used for kodi 17, because in kodi 16 u didn't need the scripts to generate the sln data.
