Some time ago there was a start-up message about Kodi's own installer/addon/wizard or something along those lines, and i cant for the life of me remember what it was called, so any help would be appreciated.

Rules aside, I would very much recommend against using these.
They add nothing, if anything they will cripple an install.

Kodi doesn't have these, only 3rd party piracy add-ons / builds do. All we can recommend is that you start from scratch with the official Kodi release from kodi.tv.
