i have people tell me its illegal to use Kodi I don't believe them I am probably one of the best promoters for Kodi as I cant stop telling people, how do I get a pr job?

I don't know who the people are telling you Kodi is illegal, it's not, this is a community effort.
There's no 'Jobs' here, they buried him some time ago along with some trolls.

Kodi isn't illegal. I can't guarantee the same about whatever you are telling people about Kodi.

using third party add-ons providing piracy content may be illegal wherever you live, but using stock Kodi itself is not.

However installing and using third-party addons that offer content that you normally would expect to pay for is almost certainly illegal in most countries.
Unfortuantly there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there that are out to make some quick money or a name for them them by either preloading illegal/banned addons on boxes with Kodi preinstalled or promoting the use of illegal/banned addons. And quite a lot of more naive people believe they are not illegal and are promoting those illegal/banned addons or resellers selling boxes preloaded with them.
If people are telling you that Kodi is illegal then it could be that you are one of the naive people who have been fooled into thinking that illegal/banned addons are legal and are unwillingly actually promoting piracy addons, and not just Kodi itself without illegal/banned addons.
