Playback choppy with new TV
#1
Specs: Linux Mint 17.1 64Bit
AMD Phenom 8553 Triple Core
Geforce GT 630
8GB Ram
Kodi 16.1

Situation: Previously using a ~5 year old Sony Bravia 42" TV. Flawless performance, no complaints.
Got a brand new Samsung SmartTV 65" TV and playback is a bit choppy.

Is there some settings i can tweak on my tv or kodi that might improve performance, or is it just time to upgrade my old computer?
Does it take more processing power to run a larger tv? They are both 1080p.
I must admit, I'm not too sure all of the capabilities of this TV, as I've only had it for a few days.
Thank you for your input, friends.

No Debug Log no issue.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Start by removing your Banned Add-ons

No help from here as long as your Kodi is contaminated with these crap

Fair enough, rarely use Exodus anyways.
Will remove and repost new log tomorrow after this evening's show watchings.
