Hi, probably a bit of a daft question but annoying all the same, I have an mxq box with android 4.4.2 & kodi 16.1. The problem I am having is with the sub menus & the short cuts. I just have it set up very basic withe confluence skin & with only videos, programmes & settings showing, I then put in my short cuts 5 in the videos & 2 in the progs. only problem is when I turn it off. When I turn it back on again my short cuts have gone & the sub menu is showing all the options. Has anyone come across it or is it just me. Thanks for your time.

This happens when Kodi has issues shutting down and closes up (or flat out crash-quits) before saving all of the settings.

Switch to another skin to force an early save of your skin settings. Then switch back to the skin you want.

This should be fixed in the upcoming Kodi v17.

Hi, & thanks for the tip,unfortunately I tried a few times but exactly the same. When I close kodi down & then turn off the power, when I power back up the short cuts have gone.

How do you close Kodi? Do you just press home button or you use exit command?
