v17 setting the preferred deinterlace method broken
#1
Hi,

I'm running kodi on an Ubuntu 16.04 machine.
It's up to date per 27 aug.

cpu: intel atom D510
gpu: ION2

I'm running Krypton, today's checkout (Merge pull request #10343 from wsnipex/nvidia-cpu-load-fix 608220d)

I need to set the deinterlacing method to vdpau-bob or I get serious stuttering, but that setting has vanished into thin air.
When I set it manually in guisettings.xml, (used to be <interlacemethod>8</interlacemethod>) kodi crashes on startup.

Crashlog is here: http://pastebin.com/A4FTbjKW

Thanks in advance for looking into this and kind regards,
Tycho.

It's know and already fixed - PR will come in the next days.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
