i have serverWMC on my htpc and is working fine in kodi with the ServerWMC addon and a HDHR4
but for the life of me i cant get it to work on my PI?
i have the serverWMC addon but it just shows a black screen when i open it.
any ideas?

So you see the wmc addon in the pvr addon client list but when you open it to configure the addon, the screen is blank?

or do you mean when viewing a channel it is black screen? Have you purchased the mpeg2 codecs for Pi?

sorry, im guessing its the viewing channel is black, i select live tv in the menu and it goes to a black screen, no video or audio and no guide or anything else.
i have bought an mpeg2 codec for it
i can get the HDHR to run using the HDHR program addon but that requires going into addons and finding it

Selecting live tv is not the same as playing a channel, as you know since you are running this on your windows machine without problems. Are you able to see the channel list, the guide data, etc on your pi?
If you are only seeing the back screen when you try to play a channel, please post your serverwmc log (see debug tab) on pastebin.com and put a link to it in this thread. But only post the log after trying to play a channel.

selecting live tv just starts playing FTA tv on my htpc.
selecting live tv on the pi goes to a black screen that nothing shows. i cant see the guide channel list, any menus etc
i ended up getting a shortcut on the pi to display at the top for the HDHR addon so its quite easy to use. and i wont need the HTPC on to view tv not that that was an issue anyway. so i cant be bothered putting anymore time into trying to get it to work
it would be nice so that i could use it to record etc but not a big deal.

Do you have the mpeg2 codec installed on the pi?

codec is installed properly and the hdHomerun addon works fine just not the serverWMC
if codec wasnt installed it would play sound but no video
