#1
I Installed Kodi 14.2 on E drive to save space, and then i run it on portable mode
It was working without problem, but when i upgrade to 17 i got black screen.. and the log says something about database error :

looks like a database upgrade went wrong.

deleting all AddonsXX.db files in E:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\portable_data\userdata\Database\ might fix the issue
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support.
Always read the Forum rules, Kodi online-manual, FAQ, Help and Search the forum before posting.

That fixed it... thanks ronie Smile

Another thing.. my custom ace skin is incompatible with 17.. in general, other than changing the xbmc.gui version.. what else do i need to do to make skins compatible in newer version?
Changing the xbmc.gui isnt enough apparently..
I couldnt find any dependencies list for the new xbmc.gui

Edit : Strangely i left it for a while and it loads my custom skin Big Grin
There are some functions not working though.. I'll try to figure it out
