Hello everyone

I am running Windows 7 with the skin Aeon MQ7 when I do a search by genre I end up with a page without the genres logos !! (I said I use the skin in French ) so I unzipped the file textures and I have not found the images in where are they ? how to have images

Sorry, not sure of the repo, perhaps they are there from when you installed MQ7, or perhaps you need extrapack

To get them go to addons all addons look & feel, images collections

Try settings,Icons & Images, to set them,

Skin don´t use more extrapack, all is addons now.

Need select one addon for appear go to skin settings, icons and images. There when press enter in movie genre, have button Get More, open options available in official repository Kodi.

Filename art in addon need is the same in the database for movie genre.

Hi all,

Before it was easy to put our custom genre jpg file in "skin.aeonmq6\media\genres\video\file with name genre.jpg"

But now this doesn't works with aeon mq 7. is there a good way to make this with aeon mq 7 easily ?

@ellega, I think is time learn how create your own resource image addon.

Skin now use addon for video genre, don´t have many available yet, but is simple create one. If you share your images, I create one and share here.

OK I will try by myself in the first time.

I think what this can be put in the "todo list" for next release.

Something who can be more easy and more multi language :
Add "addon" with picture only associated to a file with genre in muti langugage.

It is more easy to add with time all traduction in file "txt" or "xml" and keep jpg.
this is just an idea not a review. Aeon mq with time is more and more perfect. :-)

Concerning code genre for movie as I have my code genre in French how can I do to use them in MQ7 ?

I get file in english, copy and past, rename for portuguese, this is the way work, you need procede this way for get french icons working...

EX:
Comedy = Comédia = Comédie
Disaster = Desastre = Catastrophe
War = Guerra = Guerre

I did what you said and now I have the genre icons in french version, thank's

But I tried to have the genre fanart, so I went to :
Skin Settings
Icons and Images
Movies genre Fanart

and I loaded both
Movies Genre Fanart - Red Wall
Movies Genre Fanart - Grey Wall

But none are displayed as Fanart Wall, the old basic wall is still displayed. ?

Fanart for music and movies genres, is broken version 1.4.0, Marcos fixed error, will be available 1.5.0.
