When I start playing a TV recording, it doesn't play on the 1st attempt. One way to get it to play is to first play an old recording, stop, and play the new recording.

This issue occurs with both Openelec and Libreelec. Any way to fix it?

PS: Other than this minor issue, WMC + Kodi works great. I'm about to ditch 2 10-yr old Media Center Extenders.

Hi,

From what you describe this is a known bug - it happens on programs that have been newly recorded. Unfortunately the fix for it needs to occur in the addon, not serverwmc and getting changes into the current version of kodi is difficult. You didn't say what version of kodi you are running, but the krypton version of pvr.wmc has the fix, if you want to give that a try.
