Hi,
I'm using Kodi 17 Beta 1 on Windows 10. I'm also using a TV connected to my PC by HDMI and a 5.1 hometheater connected to my PC by SPDIF optical.
I would like to play DTS and AC3 movies with 5.1 system and others files with TV so I use passthrough but I don't know how to configure it : DirectSound or WASAPI for each component.
Does anyone could help me to choose right configuration ?

In my experience WASAPI is WAY better than the DirectSound API. My output is through my receiver over hdmi, not optical, but I would think the results would be the same.
