Hey All,

If I get buy this kodi device will it run Syrian drama and other channels like it. I had a app running on mums iPad called gl arab and unfortunately its not supported anymore on iPad 1. So I'm looking for other alternatives at the moment besides buying a new iPad, because, screw you apple.


My plan is to hook this up to a TV and have some arabic channels ready for her to watch.

Other concerns are:
- Safety settings or restrictions I can place to make it more user friendly
- Do channels random disappear and how can they be retrieved again ( Because we often had satellite channels go offline after a few months)
- Any other feedback or suggestions on setting this up for and elderly person who wants to watch news and drama in arabic.
- Should I just buy the raspberry pi case and fluric or just the case ?

Kodi does not provide any content whatsoever, it is just media playback software primarily used to watch your own legally sourced content.

You will need to find a suitable video add-on for your needs. Please bear in mind the forum rules regarding pirated streams and content. A lot of the live TV channel streaming add-ons pull content from dubious sources.
